ABOUT JASMIN
Hello there, thank you for stopping by! Here's a little bit about me.
I am passionate about two things: the power of the arts, and the stories of people.
I believe that when the two come together, important dialogue, transformative experiences, and magic take flight. Through the malleable and expressive nature of the arts, in particular drama, I strive to empower communities and individuals to unearth, give voice, and own narratives that are closest to their hearts.
My practice is grounded in keen listening, inquisitive questioning, and a ‘yes, and’ openness that contribute to building a safe space for risk-taking and exploration.
An educator, writer, dreamer, and advocate for the stories of everyday people, I would like to invite you Play again: to allow your Imagination and Inner Child to take the wheel.

Our clients include: Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road), Nan Hua High School, St. Nicholas Girls' School, and Commonwealth Secondary School, amongst others.
As Founder & Director, I set the company’s direction, curate material for curriculum, and design specialized training for facilitators.

EDUCATION OFFICER:
MINISTRY OF EDUCATION (SINGAPORE)
My 3 years as a teacher in a local school were some of the most life-changing years. It is then where I learnt how to ask the right questions to ignite curiosity and a passion for learning.
I had the opportunity to work closely with youths in the Drama Club, Student Council, and in my English and Literature classrooms.

Arts for All (NAC)
Dramatic playing is essential for children’s learning empathy and self-control. Children learn to empathize as they view the world from other people’s perspectives including those of peers, adults, and people in stories.
WHAT STUDENTS HAVE TO SAY
Class of 2015
STUDENT, FEMALE
Ms. Wong is one of the most active teachers I ever met. In active, I mean how she conducts her lessons by progressively moving together with the class. Every class or lesson of hers is filled with thought because of the effort we can see she took to plan each game and activity, to further enhance our experience and knowledge.
Class of 2016
STUDENT, MALE
I like Ms. Wong because she's realistic yet ambitious, understanding, and pragmatic while maintaining a good sense of humour. She supports students in all their ambitions while ensuring that they take effective steps to procure them. Vehement in her desire for nurturing her students, she has inspired me and I'm sure many others to be what we are and are yet to be. She keeps the class engaged with her strong stage presence and captivating use of words.
Class of 2017
STUDENT, FEMALE
She is not just a teacher, she is a counselor, a guide, a encourager, a motivator, a parent and a friend. She has undoubtedly very much exceeded her duties as a teacher not just for me but I know to many of her students as well. It is because of her that I am a better actress, a better student and a better person - and a happy one at that.
